One day while coming back from the office, I decided to go to Enrich salon to make my annual member ship which I got for free with shopper’s stop first citizen member ship (I had to pay for this membership). I went and the receptionist told me to wait for five minutes while she could do the billing for another customer. I started looking at the products which were displayed beautifully to tempt customers and one therapist came and started guiding me. She explained me the benefits of different products which one will suite me and what beauty therapies I should go for my beauty blues.
I was running out of my lo real paris face wash(Read The review Here) I needed one so I just decided to give a try to the new brand. The beauty therapist kept telling me to buy a face wash for oily skin because my T-zone was self-explanatory. I bought the face wash.
Price: INR 275/- for 50ml.
Shelf life:36 months.
Only the key ingredients are printed.
If you look closely the Key Ingredients is printed on a sticker so my inside sherlock woke up and I removed to see what’s hidden underneath. It turned out to be Tea Tree oil which I guess is no longer present in the face wash.
About the product:
No fancy packaging , classic tube with a sturdy click off cap. The face wash formula is light greenish Yellow Color which is not welcoming at all and very liquidy but the cap makes it travel friendly, it doesn’t spill.
When I first squeezed a little amount of facewash I dint notice the granules, it’s not even specified on the package. I started washing my face and then I realized the granular texture of the face wash, It has a light fragrance. My skin is oily and sensitive so I refrain myself from using any products which are granulated and specially those which contain Nano molecules which get trapped in to the enlarged pores and give me boils. On the first use I got a little boil on my right cheek.
The granulated formula is made for oily skin to deep cleanse the face by removing all the oils. After the first use I started lathering the facewash on my palms and then I used to apply it on my face. It instantly gives me a fresh feeling. If you have ever used head & shoulder menthol shampoo, the way you feel your head after washing, the same way you will feel after washing your face wash with this face wash.
Rating : 2.5/5
I have an average experience with this face wash. It cleanses your face, removes oils but it’s not good for sensitive skin. The granulated formula does exfoliate your face but it can leave your skin irritated if applied directly on the face so I always lathered it up on my palms. Having a skin which is sensitive+oily makes it difficult to find the right the product.
If you have an oily skin which needs to be deep cleanse everyday you can go for this product but if you are someone like me, who is not immune to granules/nano , micro or macro molecules present in the face wash then this is not your life saviour.
- Gives you a fresh feeling after use
- Good for oily skin
- Fragrance(any face wash which has fragrance you should stay away from it).
- Not good for sensitive skin.
- No ingredient list(Except key ingredients) so sit back and keep wondering.
